    Post-Me'ah Graduate Institute

    After a very successful first year, the post Me'ah Graduate Institute of Temple Israel will enter its second year beginning in the fall. Organized and conceived by Rabbi Starr, this series of classes provides a framework for continuing, serious Jewish education for those who have taken the Me'ah program. Staffed by some of the finest academic faculty in the area, the program consists of five four-week modules of study, each dealing with a different area of text study. The Institute meets on Tuesdays from 7:45-9:15 p.m.. Each module costs $125. One may take as many modules as he or she wishes. Enrollment by those who have not previously taken Me'ah courses is by special permission only.

    The modules for the 2006-2007 year are as follows:

    Module 1: "The Birth of a Nation: From Slavery to Commandedness: Exodus 1-20"
