    The Rabbi's Circle

The Rabbi’s Circle is composed of those Temple members who have indicated their intent to include Temple Israel* as a part of their estate planning. These individual have, by their generosity and vision, altered the course of Temple Israel history. To our knowledge, never before has Temple Israel been the beneficiary of an estate, will, or trust, and never before has there been the promise of a sustaining gift to enable Temple programming in perpetuity. But that fact is forever changed, and now, thanks to these leaders, a new era is upon us.

We invite you and your family to consider joining the Rabbi's Circle. There is no minimum amount; regardless of means, every congregant can participate. To add your name, or to obtain more information, call Elliot Feldman, Jeff Fredberg, Karen Silberman, or Rabbi Starr. If needed, estate planning professionals are ready to offer advice, provide sample language, answer technical questions, or provide referrals.

*The legal entity to be named for estate planning is “The Jewish Community Center of Sharon, Inc.”

One member of the Rabbi's Circle wrote these words:

"You can add my name to the Rabbi’s Circle, as I have the forms on my desk to change the beneficiary of my SEP to Temple Israel. I also have a charitable foundation that, for now, is mostly acquiring assets, but… the trustees are directed to use part of the income to support programs at TI. I already know that you don’t have to be rich to leave a lasting legacy.”
