    Geo Poor, Youth Educator

Geo Poor joined the Temple Israel staff as the Youth Educator in July of 2008. A child of the Conservative movement, Geo was active in USY and has been to Israel with USY four times, once as a Rosh of a Pilgrimage group. Over the years, he has also worked at Camp Ramah in Nyack, the (former) Solomon Schechter Day School in Worcester, and Camp Habonim at the JCC in Worcester. He also enjoyed some time working at UPS and teaching guitar, bass, and piano lessons. Geo graduated from Clark University with a B.A.in Music with honors in Composition as well as a concentration in Jewish Studies.

Outside of his life as a professional Jew, Geo enjoys writing, playing, recording, producing, and performing music, eating, doing yoga, cooking, watching movies, eating, dreaming, and being a vegetarian.
