    Stephanie Jolson, Youth Director

Stephanie Jolson joined the Temple Israel community as Youth Director in 2004. Prior to coming to Sharon, Stephanie grew up in Brooklyn, NY and is a 2004 graduate of the University of Delaware. In addition to her studies, Stephanie was a dedicated member of Hillel where she served first as their social action chair and later as President. Stephanie was able to put her passion for community service to work through her involvement in Hillel and through her trip to Argentina in the Spring of 2004 when she joined other college students in repairing a synagogue in Buenos Aires.

During the past two summers, Stephanie was fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to Israel as the professional representative of Temple Israel on the CJP Follow Me to Israel Mission whose goal is to educate community leaders about the various Israel trips available to teens. Her experiences with this program as well as her participation in the Birthright program gave her a first-hand account of the opportunities available to the teenagers with whom she works.

In addition to working full-time at Temple Israel, Stephanie is also pursuing a Certificate in Informal Jewish Education, Youth Leadership, and Camping from Hebrew College.
