Routes with Rabbi Fish
5779 Theme: Honoring the journeys of our ancestors

This year during the Routes series we will learn about the genealogies and stories of our own Jewish families.  We will both use this class as a chance to learn about the history of our communities, and to focus as well on how each of our personal stories is part of the narrative of modern Jewish history. An important aspect of this year’s learning will also connect to the synagogue wide project of restoring a Torah scroll that was part of the collection taken from Jewish communities destroyed in the Shoah. We are proud to be part of the continuing story of this scroll.
