Try Goat Yoga while
giving back to the community!
[RSVP below the image, on your right]
All proceeds go directly to fund young family programming at the synagogue.
This class will take place outdoors in Woodland Wilderness, the field directly next to the parking lot of Temple Israel and will feature a herd of friendly goats! If it rains we will move the event indoors. Goat kids are naturally curious and playful, and love to climb on anyone and anything. While this may not be the most meditative and relaxing yoga class you have ever taken, it will surely be the most fun and memorable - perfect for melting that stress away!
Yoga will be led by our talented and certified Heidi Kassner (read her bio online, here) Classes are always suitable for beginners but even the most practiced yogi will enjoy a class outdoors with the goats.
Bring your own mat, blanket, or towel but be prepared for the goats to potentially taste test everything. The $30 class fee includes 50 minutes of yoga instruction with 10 minutes of goat cuddle and photos. We will provide goat treats and there will be plenty of time to pet, hold, and take pictures with the goats throughout and after class.
Don't have your own yoga mat? Don't let that stop you! We will have mats available if you forget yours or need to borrow.
