We are 700 families.

We are teachers and doctors, business owners and retirees, new parents and grandparents, attorneys. artists, grad students, bankers, Moms and Dads.

We celebrate together in good times, and support each other when life gets difficult. We are learners. We are active in our synagogue. We daven every morning. We daven every night. And of course, every Shabbat and holiday.

70 years in development.

Temple Israel Religious School, the Temple Israel USY chapter and Hertz Nursery School are the pride of TI’s younger families. An active Hazak (55+) chapter is one of the largest in the region. The Temple Israel Tiferet Center (adult education) offers over 500 programs every year – many free of charge to members.

In keeping with our modern, egalitarian approach to Conservative Judaism, TI has moved away from the traditional approach to dues, and developed a new, innovative model to sustain our building and our community. We simply ask each family to contribute what they can afford. So far, we’re doing just fine.
