During the month of August (and Labor Day Friday), join us in person live and outdoors (& also on Zoom) to welcome Shabbat and greet each other (respecting social distancing). Monday evenings, too, through Labor Day!
Pre-registration required (read first, then register below); registration will close on Mondays at 4pm/Fridays at 12pm or when the 25-person limit is reached.
You must pre-register for each service.
Throughout this COVID-19 period, our Medical Advisory Committee and Executive Committee have been working hard to determine when we can gather together for services. Current favorable health trends suggest this opportunity to come together for evening minyan, outdoors, on Mondays & Fridays.
To keep our numbers at a safe level but ensure a minyan, participation will be limited-- with safety guidelines and with pre-registration (form below). We will continue to Zoom minyan even when we are outside: Mondays at 7:15pm and Fridays at 6:15pm
If you are healthy enough to attend, please consider joining us, but only by pre-registering below. We will email you prior to each service and ask you to confirm that nothing has changed and that you still feel well enough to attend.
NOTE: To keep our numbers safe, the system might require you to log into our new ShulCloud platform to pre-register. If so and you have not yet logged in:
1. Go to our redesigned webpage (the same tisharon.org web address as before)
2. In the top right corner, enter your email address, then click Forgot Password
3. You will receive a link to reset your password
4. Log in with that email and new password
5. Go to the outdoor minyan pre-registration link.
Please observe the following protocols to help keep us as safe as possible:
- Only those invited may attend (limited to 25), but you must pre-register below. (You may register additional people in your home, toward the limit of 25)
- We will daven outside, by the front of the building, spaced apart, weather permitting
- All attendees will wear masks (please consult the CDC or other health organizations for best type of mask, e.g. not bandanas)
- Arrive by 7pm to check in. If you are not feeling well, please stay home and help us another time
- Bring your own siddur, use the PDFs here, or safely borrow one from the shul that evening)
- Please refrain from projected/loud singing during davening, as this is unsafe
- If you feel you will need to sit during the service (mincha and ma'ariv), bring your own chair
- Bathrooms may be visited one at a time
- As much as we wish to be social, please do not linger closer than at a safe social distance (and preferably not at all)
There will be a member of the synagogue leadership and a member of the medical advisory committee present during the service. It may be that they will determine for any number of reasons that we need to ask you not to remain on the shul property. (Examples: we may have too many people who have shown up already, there may be late subscribers who need to be present, or if there is concern about the state of health in which someone presents.) We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
Pre-registration required, below (closes Mondays at 4pm & Fridays at 12pm)
Be responsible to your fellow community members:
If you are not feeling well in the days after attending minyan in person,
email our staff or call 339-364-2810.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
