A graduate of Thayer Academy, Zac Gondelman is a student at Brandeis University. He is an award-winning musician, song-leader and advocate for queer and minority students.

Studying under the clergy as their Student Intern at Temple Beth Elohim,  Zac was deeply involved in all aspects of Jewish community life. He believes in creating welcoming, uplifting, and youthful space for prayer and discussion. Zac has been passionate about diversity and active in student leadership. He served as the President of OMEGA - the diversity club at Thayer Academy and the Education Director of Spectrum - the gay straight alliance on campus. Zac was also the creator & Co-President of the Spectrum Student Teacher Program Fellowship - a fellowship for 11th & 12th grade students to lead LGBTQ+ discussions for 6th-10th grade students.

Through song and story, Zac shares his experiences as a gay student and Jew, creating warm, welcoming, and uplifting space for prayer and discussion. Zac loves keeping his finger on the pulse of the music scene, exploring new places, baking French desserts, playing with his dog, and making music.
