Celebrate Purim 2020 with TI
March 8-10

What a wonderful Purim holiday and celebration this has been for Temple Israel!
More than 115 children- along with parents, grandparents, and friends (both TI members and members of the broader Jewish community) participated in our spectacular Hamentaschen Baking and Carnival on Sunday. Spearheaded by Becca Katzman and Lisa Einstein, and with more than 40 volunteers and our fabulous USYers, the pictures in the video below do not do justice to the extraordinary time had by all!

Yasher Koach and BRAVO to our amazing Purim Shpiel cast and crew: Led by Debra Getz and Sheryl Olshin and with thanks to Larry Sandberg and so many others, our congregation was rockin' to the '80s in a brilliant performance.

And thank you to all those who joined us for Megillah reading last night and in morning minyan today, whether in costume or not, to help make this a special holiday for all!
Together, we raised more than $1,000 for Yad Chessed; and through the efforts of Stephen Shrago, Sheryl Olshin, Gila Yudewitz, and our USYers, we raised nearly $10,000 through our Mishloach Manot program benefiting Temple Israel and contributing to USY's Tikun Olam tzedakah fund. Thank you to all those who sent Mishloach Manot bags and to those who stepped up as Silver Sponsors in this fundraising effort.
