Rosh Hodesh and Shevet Achim

Rosh Hodesh (head of the month) is a special program for pre-teens and teen girls in grades 3-5 and girls in grades 6-8. Led by Gila Yudewitz, and Shevet Achim (sitting together) is a special program for pre-teens and teen boys in grades 3-5 and boys in grades 6-8, led by Natan Fandel.

These programs are rooted in a multi-dimensional view of character development and will challenge your teens to think critically about and apply Jewish wisdom to the issues that matter to them most, including academic stress, friendship, body image, and peer pressure.

All children are invited participate and explore self-esteem and Jewish identity in a safe, fun, and encouraging setting. By the end of the year, they will have the tools for dealing with the various social issues that come up as they grow up.
