Sunday, October 22nd: Tour of Touro Synagogue followed by Icecream! Touro Synagogue and Congregation Jeshuat Israel - Newport, RI
Saturday, November 18th: Jewish National Fund Shabbat - Join us for Kiddush and then a talk with JNF about our connection with Israel, Mitzvah project opportunities, and Tzedakah (charity) ideas.
Sunday December 17th, following Youth Group. 11:15am- 12:15pm. Come experience an incredible curriculum for both parents and students written by congregant, Maureen Mintz. Discussing the famous quote from Hillel:
“If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am only for myself, what am I? And if not now, when?”
Sunday, February 11: Join Temple Israel's Brotherhood for National World Wide Wrap: Tfillot services begin at 8:30am. 11:30-12:30: Tallit and Tefillin: World Wide Wrap! What are these objects, how do we use them, and how do they help make us better people? World Wide Wrap | Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs (fjmc.org)
Wednesday, March 20th: 6th and 7th grade Family Education Programm - Create your own YAD (pointer for use when reading from the Torah). also discover the meaning of the many blessings we give to our child on this day and create your own family blessing that can be used each Friday night.
Sunday May 19th at 12:00pm: Tour of Mayyim Hayyim - This is one of the best lessons to join us for. Take a tour of the beautiful Mikveh (ritual bath) in Newton, Ma. You will learn about this Mitzvah as well as the work Mayyim Hayyim does to make this Mitzvah accessible and meaningful to everyone. It is a beautiful lesson on seeing the essence of a Mitzvah and making it meaningful for everyone.
Sunday, May 26th: Join the whole community from 9:00-11:00am for Graduation and Lag B'omer ceremony.

Sunday, March 3rd: 6th-8th grade movie morning: Devil's Arithmetic : 9-11am during Youth Group time.
Sunday, April 7th: All School Movie: Prince of Egypt - After the Passover Family Program. Lunch will be served.
