Youth Groups and USY
USY is USCJ’s (United Synagogue Youth of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism) youth movement for Conservative Jewish teens across North America. For more than 60 years, USY has taught young Jews the values and skills they need to become exceptional leaders in their religious and secular communities.
Our youth groups and USY are led by Natan Fandel and offer our Jewish youth an opportunity to socialize, have fun and empower them to develop friendships, leadership skills, and a sense of belonging in the community and to the Jewish People.
Our Youth Group program is for grades K-4 and 5-7. Grade K-4 meets periodically and grades 5-7 meets weekly on Sundays in the youth lounge with Natan. The program offers informal learning and social activities to create a community based on a deep engagement, love for Israel, and a commitment to Jewish living. Participating students gain both meaningful and fun experiences based on the ideology of Conservative Judaism.
About once a month grades K-7 go on an exciting fieldtrip outside of the synagogue. These outings are fun and develop important personal and interpersonal skills. Sign your child up so he/she does not miss these unique adventures! For additional information, please contact Natan at nfandel@tisharon.org
