The Human Rights Haggadah with Rabbi Shlomo Levin

Sunday, April 7, 2024 28 Adar II 5784

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

The Human Rights Haggadah highlights human rights issues as they come up frequently in the Passover story. It provides Jewish and secular sources for each, along with questions for discussion. A must for anyone who wants to find contemporary meaning in the seder by using it as a springboard to discuss human rights.

Rabbi Levin will be presenting and teaching from this new haggadah, and haggadot will be available for purchase.

Shlomo received ordination from The Israeli Chief Rabbinate and Yeshivat Hamivtar, and also holds an M.A. in International Law and Human Rights from the United Nations University for Peace in Costa Rica. For many years he served as a Rabbi, but now he works full time as the author of the Human Rights Haggadah and blogs about human rights issues as they pertain to Israel and the Jewish community.
