IMPORTANT NEWS IF YOU ARE ATTENDING IN PERSON HOLIDAY SERVICES

We are excited to have the opportunity to meet in person, as well as Zoom, for the Holidays!
  • We welcome all fully vaccinated members back for in-person services (whether indoors or outdoors).   You may not attend in-person services if you have not been fully vaccinated but we welcome you to attend by Zoom.  You must show proof of vaccination by bringing your vaccination card with you or by sending a photo of your vaccination card by email to the office (templeoffice@tisharon.org) prior to Rosh Hashanah (Monday, September 6th).  As a courtesy to others, we ask that you not provide proof of evidence by your cellphone while attending services.  All information we collect regarding your vaccination status will remain confidential and be destroyed following the High Holy Days.
  • Masks are also required for everyone attending in-person services—both indoors and outside. We ask that all children attend wear well-fitting masks for attending outdoor family and youth services.
  • Prior registration is required to attend in-person services.
  • All services will be open seating, but tickets and evidence of vaccination are required for entry. For both health and security reasons, tickets will be checked this year upon arrival. Please note that while our in-person services will not have assigned seating this year, we expect to resume assigned seating in the Sanctuary and Berger Hall next High Holiday season.
  • If you are participating by Zoom, we look forward to seeing you in person in the not too distant future!
We look forward to celebrating the holidays with you.

Traditional Service:

Join Rabbi Gordon and Rabbi Silverman, along with many of your favorite daveners, for our traditional High Holy Day services. We will incorporate meaningful teachings, beautiful music, and thoughtful sermons. Available both in person (in Berger Hall) and on Zoom, we hope to see many of you over the course of the High Holy Days.

Chavurah:

The Chavurah Service is a small group service for those seeking a more intimate and informal High Holiday experience with a mix of traditional and creative davening, spirited communal singing, and led by lay members of the congregation.  On Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur mornings, the service includes Torah Service, a D’var Torah (often with discussion), and a Heicha Kedusha Musaf with participatory readings in lieu of a full repetition.  On Yom Kippur, the Chavurah Service also meets for Kol Nidre and Neilah.  Chavurah Services will be held outside this year.

Youth Services & Programming

We are thrilled to be able to come back together this year, for each morning of the holidays! Weather permitting, all youth activities will take place outside. In the event of inclement weather, we will move inside, wear masks, and remain socially distant.

9:30AM -10:00 AM - Tot Service (ages 0-4)

10:30AM - 12:30PM - services and programming for grades K-12. Details will follow. Each group will learn, pray, and play together for the morning. Parents are welcome but not required.
